JTRE, in collaboration with Sons & Co, is an international real estate developer with high-profile residential projects around the world. KUOZ was appointed to develop the brand strategy, brand identity, and communication strategy for a new mixed-use development in central London.

Triptych is a three-tower complex that sits along the River Thames in the middle of the capital’s cultural quarter, Bankside. It is marketed as a modern, luxury lifestyle destination host to two high-rise residential towers, a low-rise office building, as well as retail and cultural facilities.

The aim was to highlight the cultural elements of the surrounding area, such as its iconic historical landmarks and attractions, and convey a sense of dynamism and creativity. To do so, we designed a logo that through its rounded and bold shapes accentuates the architecture of the building, and also evokes the concept of talent and inspiration through its dynamic composition.

Once the project’s overarching structure and the main visual identity were finalised, we developed a combined brand manual. This outlines the project’s broader ideas, and shapes a secondary language that interlinks with the main concept.

As part of the toolkit, we produced a selection of 20 shapes based on our colour system. These shapes were hand-painted and photographed; each of them inspired by different moods and energies to emphasise creativity.

The use of paint strokes created a secondary language that went hand-in-hand with the visual identity, ensuring that the brand retains consistency and coherence throughout its communications and collateral.

The commercial and photography for Triptych is a journey through various cultural landmarks, aiming to engage the dynamic and artistic spirit of the development and the surrounding landscape. We used the image of a parkour athlete to represent the freedom of creative thinking while showcasing the surroundings’ impressive architecture.
