Crema is a gelato shop located in Bangkok, known for its expertise in traditional Neapolitan recipes.

In 2019, Crema approached us to develop and integrate their brand identity. We wanted to create a logo that gives the impression that the shop had been around for decades, while also giving it a modern and fun twist.

To achieve this, we combined a classic typeface echoing 1920’s European Modernist fonts with vibrant colours and shapes. The shape abstraction helped us to streamline a series of graphic elements appearing throughout the collateral.

We decided to use paper-based materials for all printed applications to maintain an organic feel throughout the branding and conjure the simple pleasure of eating ice cream.
